Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld is said to be of interest to Manchester United.

Tottenham Hotspur supporters are divided over Toby Alderweireld’s most recent comments in the Telegraph, which suggest that he would be willing to stay with Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Alderweireld has been strongly linked with a move away from Spurs this summer.
But the Belgian defender has now claimed that he wouldn’t be opposed to sticking around with the north London club.
He said: “Yeah, why not [stay]? I have two years left on my contract. I do not know what is going to happen.”
While some Tottenham fans have been very excited by the comments, others are more cautious.
If Tottenham did manage to keep hold of Alderweireld it would be a major boost to them, but they need him to pen a new contract.
The commanding defender would have to be sold on the cheap next summer, as a clause in his current deal, which is worth £50,000-a-week (Daily Mail), allowing him to leave for £25 million would come into play.

Alderweireld missed much of last campaign through injury, but is at the World Cup with Belgium.
If Alderweireld does leave Spurs, Manchester United looks like the most likely destination for the former Southampton man.
