Tashan Oakley-Boothe is one of two Tottenham players who won the under-17 World Cup for England.

Two Tottenham Hotspur players starred as England’s under-17 side won the World Cup in a thrilling final in India.
England’s young lions came from 2-0 down to beat Spain 5-2 and go on and lift the trophy.
They followed the success of England’s under-20s in the summer who won the World Cup in their age group.
Two Spurs players, Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Onomah were part of the under-20 success, and the North London side contributed again to England’s success at under-17 level.
Tashan Oakley-Boothe and TJ Eyoma both started the final against Spain and played a key role in England’s tournament success.
Oakley-Boothe was particularly impressive in midfield and he is a player who has already caught the eye of Tottenham head coach Mauricio Pochettino.
He featured in pre-season for Spurs, and The Mail reported Pochettino’s faith in him was the reason the club pulled out of a potential deal to sign Celta Vigo midfielder Pape Cheikh Diop.

Competition for places is fierce in Tottenham’s midfield, but the breakthrough of Harry Winks should give Oakley-Boothe all the encouragement he needs.
