Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane is reported to want a wage increase.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been having their say on reports suggesting star striker Harry Kane’s contract talks have hit a hitch.
The Sun claim Tottenham are haggling with Kane over a pay rise, with the forward wanting an increase to match his standing as a key first team player.

The report states the reigning Premier League Golden Boot winner earns £60,000 per week.
His demands are exacerbated by summer signing Moussa Sissoko being handed a deal reportedly worth £95,000 per week.
Sissoko moved to the club on transfer deadline day from Newcastle United, and in comparison to Kane, is yet to prove himself as a vital first team player.

Kane is regarded as one of Tottenham’s own, a priceless talisman who has come through the club’s academy and is an England international.
No player should hold a club hostage to wage increases, but given Sissoko’s hefty deal, it does not appear unreasonable that Kane and his representatives feel he is worthy of a deal which at least matches the Frenchman’s.
