After early struggles, Moussa Sissoko has now become a key player in the middle of the park for Tottenham Hotspur.
Tottenham Hotspur supporters on Twitter have praised Moussa Sissoko after he admitted that he never thought about leaving the club during his difficult times.
When Sissoko first arrived at Tottenham in 2016, he struggled to make a name for himself as he found himself in and out of the team.
The France international stated that he was left ‘hurt’ by Mauricio Pochettino’s early team selections, but he made it clear that he never thought of leaving, as quoted by TalkSport.
It is a type of attitude that has been admired by the Spurs faithful because of where he once was and where he has now taken his career.
Not many would have thought that Sissoko would have ended the last campaign as one of, if not the best player for Pochettino.
He was utilised in the middle of the park by his manager and it is a move that paid off as he put in performance after performance after performance.
Therefore, it isn’t a surprise to see that Tottenham fans appreciate what Sissoko has done, but they did admit that he still needs to sort out certain aspects of his game.
Whilst Sissoko is a powerhouse and a defensive rock in the middle of the park, he is yet to showcase any type of shooting ability when he has the chance to put the ball into the back of the net.
