Promising striker sent out on loan from Tottenham to Yeovil.
Tottenham Hotspur’s striking options are looking a little thinner after the club announced they are sending Shayon Harrison out on loan until the end of the season.
The England youth international made his debut earlier this season in the EFL Cup and impressed in pre-season, playing regularly for the under-23s.
He was third in line for a starting spot for Spurs, and was expected to be in contention for the upcoming FA Cup clash against Wycombe Wanderers.

His departure puts more pressure on summer signing Vincent Janssen to produce, with the Dutchman scoring just three penalties all season and no goals from open play.

Spurs only play with one up front, but even so, they look light up front considering Janssen’s disappointing start.
With three competitions to balance, Premier League, Europa League and FA Cup, Tottenham need to be careful not to put too much pressure on Harry Kane, and an injury is unthinkable.
Harrison’s loan suggests head coach Mauricio Pochettino did not expect him to get much game time, and of course they can move Heung-Min Son up front as an alternative option.
It could perhaps also mean that a so far quiet Spurs could yet bring in an additional striker during the transfer window.
