Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino is said to have been impressed by Lewis Cook.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are divided over whether they should sign Lewis Cook from Bournemouth.

The Daily Express claim that Spurs are after the Bournemouth midfielder, and are preparing a £30 million bid.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side are yet to make a signing this summer, but some Spurs fans are not unanimously behind the idea of buying Cook.

While some Tottenham fans feel that the Bournemouth man would be an exciting addition, others don’t think he is the sort of player who would take them to the next level.

Tottenham are currently short of options in central midfield, due to the World Cup and through injury.

The likes of Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Mousa Dembele and Eric Dier could all be unavailable on the opening day of the season.

Cook’s arrival would help to bolster Pochettino’s options in the position, although Luke Amos has been tipped as a potential starter against Newcastle United in two weekends’ time.
