Everton midfielder has been linked with a move to Tottenham.
Tottenham Hotspur fans had a mixed verdict on reported transfer target Ross Barkley’s latest performance for Everton.
The London Evening Standard reported last week that Tottenham were keen on the attacking midfielder, who is valued by the Toffees at £35 million.

It is a huge price for a player who was earlier this season dropped from the England squad, and last night in the Merseyside Derby he did not have the showcase performance he would have wanted.
Barkley was lucky to remain on the pitch after a dangerous tackle on Jordan Henderson, and continued to spar with the Liverpool midfielder throughout the match.

In possession Barkley managed to create two chances, but was ultimately ineffective with Everton losing 1-0 to Sadio Mane’s late winner.
Barkley had one shot at goal which landed off target, and struggled to keep hold of the ball, completing a woeful 53.5 per cent of his passes.
It was not a £35 million performance from Barkley, underlining the fact he is very much a unpolished diamond of a player.
Tottenham would hope head coach Mauricio Pochettino could help him reach the next level, but for the money Everton are asking, they would want to get a player hitting his stride, rather than struggling for form.
