Everton midfielder Ross Barkley impressed Tottenham Hotspur fans with his performance last night.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have been even more convinced that Ross Barkley would be a good signing for them, after his performance for Everton against Leicester City.
Barkley shone for Everton yesterday, as they picked up a 4-2 victory over the reigning Premier League champions.
The attacking midfielder was at the heart of everything good the Toffees did, with his showing catching the eye once again.
After the match Ronald Koeman hinted that Barkley could leave Goodison Park in the summer, unless he pens a new deal.
And with Tottenham reportedly interested, it seems that he would be given a warm welcome at White Hart Lane if he was to sign for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Barkley has been in excellent form for Everton in recent months, with the 23-year-old drawing a lot of praise.
Barkley has become an integral part of Ronald Koeman’s side, and his departure would be a big blow for the Merseyside outfit.
If Barkley was to move to Spurs, he would be in competition with the likes of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen for a first-team place.
