Mahrez put in a stunning display for Leicester, as the two sides played out a thriller at Wembley Stadium.
Tottenham came out 5-4 winners in the contest, but Mahrez still did enough to enhance his reputation among the home side’s supporters.
The Algerian winger scored and claimed an assist for the Foxes during the match.
And Tottenham fans have now urged Mauricio Pochettino to make a move for the 27-year-old during the summer transfer window.
Whether Tottenham would be able to afford Mahrez now is up for debate.
Spurs have been long-term admirers of the skilful wide-man, but their failure to complete a deal, may mean that they have to look elsewhere.
Manchester City are thought to be the front runners for Mahrez’s signature, if he does leave Leicester at the end of the season.
