And Tottenham fans are of the opinion that Pereira could be a good replacement for Walker.
Pereira has had an excellent season on loan at Nice, with his attacking prowess catching the eye.
The 23-year-old claimed four assists and scored two goals in 24 Ligue 1 appearances, helping Nice to finish in the French top flight.
Pereira is noted for his pace and power and looks like a natural replacement for Walker, who possesses those qualities in abundance.
Tottenham are yet to make a signing this summer, but Pochettino is believed to be looking for additions, as he looks to build on the success that Spurs have had over recent seasons.
