Dembele played nearly the entirety of the contest against United yesterday, and he was in brilliant form, as Spurs picked up a 2-0 victory.
The Belgian international has not always been at his best this season, but he dominated United’s midfielders at Wembley.
And Spurs fans on social media website Twitter have heaped praise upon Dembele for his performance during the encounter.
Tottenham took the lead after just 11 seconds last night, with Christian Eriksen finding the back of the net, and they never looked back.
Spurs completely dominated the fixture, with Phil Jones’ also scoring an own-goal.
In truth, Spurs could have won by more – but their 2-0 victory over United was still highly credible.
Tottenham have now put serious pressure on the top four, with Pochettino’s men just two points behind Chelsea now.
