Tottenham Hotspur are said to be interested in signing the Lyon attacker in January.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are far from impressed by the rumours that they want to sign Maxwel Cornet from Lyon in the January transfer window.

However, Tottenham fans are fearful of buying prospects from France, after the struggles of Clinton NJie and Georges Kevin N’Koudou recently.
Njie was sold by Spurs after just one year at the club, while N’Koudou has never threatened to break into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting line-up.
Tottenham fans are now worried that another unproven player could be brought to North London, with most suggesting that Cornet would not be a good buy.
Cornet has scored two goals and created three assists in 15 appearances for Lyon this term.
The attacker can play as a winger or a striker, and would bolster Pochettino’s attacking options if he was to move to Tottenham in January.
