Some Tottenham supporters on Twitter are raging after Mauricio Pochettino was charged by the FA following Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at Burnley.

After the game at Turf Moor, Pochettino confronted referee Mike Dean, with the Spurs senior man annoyed at the officiating on the day.

On Monday afternoon, Sky Sports News reported on their official Twitter account that Pochettino has been charged with improper conduct following that defeat at Burnley.

It is fair to say that Spurs fans on Twitter were unimpressed by the decision because they want Dean investigated too as they feel he allegedly said something.

The incident that may have riled Pochettino and his supporters is the opening goal, which was scored by striker Chris Wood. The officials wrongly awarded the home team a corner and from that set-piece situation, they headed in the first goal of the match.

Here is a selection of Tottenham supporters reacting to Pochettino’s charge:

Despite the recent charge, Pochettino will now turn his attention to Wednesday night and a trip to Stamford Bridge to take on recently beaten League Cup finalists Chelsea.

They will then host north London rivals Arsenal at Wembley, with Spurs knocking them out of the Carabao Cup earlier on in the season, but they were beaten by them during the league fixture.
