Tottenham Hotspur fans are gutted about Serge Aurier picking up an injury.

Aurier had to be taken off in the closing stages of Tottenham’s match against Watford last night, and his potential injury could leave him sidelined for a while.

Although, in the past, Spurs fans may not have been too concerned with an injury to Aurier, the right-back actually looked to be hitting some form.

And Tottenham fans are disappointed that they will now be without the former PSG man, following Pochettino’s comments.

The Argentine boss said to Football.London: “I don’t believe so (inhales sharply). In a cross he felt his quad. Tomorrow we’ll see, but it’s not a good thing.”

Pochettino’s words have caused a big reaction on Twitter, with Spurs fans now discussing the options.

Spurs may have to pick Kyle Walker-Peters to play at right-back, if Kieran Trippier needs to be rested.

Tottenham’s next match comes at the weekend against Huddersfield Town, when Trippier will be expected to start.
