Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Real Madrid midfielder Mateo Kovacic.
It has been claimed that Spurs have opened talks with the Spanish and European giants over the transfer of the 23-year-old.
According to the report, the Croatia international and former Inter Milan midfielder is rated at £22 million.
The Guardian’s Ed Aarons, though, has claimed on Twitter that Tottenham are not interested in signing Kovacic in the summer transfer window.
Kovacic joined Madrid from Italian club Inter in the summer of 2015, and has won La Liga once and the Champions League twice with Los Blancos.
