Tottenham youngster’s spell at Norwich has been cut short.

Tottenham Hotspur prospect Marcus Edwards’ unsuccessful loan spell at Norwich City has come to an end.
The talented youngster played just six minutes of first team football, before the club announced last night he was heading back to Spurs.
While ‘personal reasons’ were cited, Edwards has been criticised previously for a poor attitude by Norwich manager Daniel Farke.
Edwards made his Tottenham debut in the League Cup in late 2016, but has not been near the first team since.

The England youth international was rated as one of the country’s brightest prospects, but Spurs fans are worried Edwards will become another wasted talent like Ravel Morrison, or one of their own, John Bostock.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino had not believed Edwards was ready for first team action this season, much to the frustration of fans.
Seeing him fail to crack the Norwich XI vindicated the Tottenham boss’ decision, and there is now suggestion among supporters that Pochettino could ship him out this summer.
