Tottenham Hotspur have been draw against Manchester United in the FA Cup semi-finals.

Tottenham Hotspur’s reward for beating Swansea City at the weekend is a FA Cup draw against Manchester United.

The tie will be played at Tottenham’s home ground of Wembley next month, potentially giving them an advantage for the tie.

United are the current FA Cup holders and both teams were eliminated from the Champions League in the last round, making this their only remaining chance of silverware.

Tottenham need to trophy to silence their critics after going a decade without a trophy, while United boss Jose Mourinho is under real pressure after the manner of their Champions League exit to Sevilla.

Spurs beat United at Wembley 2-0 last month, with Phil Jones scoring an own goal, after Christian Eriksen had given them the lead after just 11 seconds.

The big question surrounding the contest will concern striker Harry Kane, who is out injured and is currently expected to miss the fixture, but as the game is in late April, Tottenham could decide to try and rush him back.

The other FA Cup semi-final will be played between Chelsea and Southampton.
