Tottenham Hotspur fans are hoping that the rumours swirling around about Lucas Moura are true.

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a surprise move for out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain star Lucas Moura.
Spurs’ decision to loan Georges-Kevin N’Koudou to Burnley this week certainly frees up a spot for a wide player in Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.

The arrival of Neymar has rendered the 25-year-old surplus to requirements in the French capital, with Lucas – valued at £33.7 million according to Transfermarkt – only managing five Ligue 1 appearances this season and they were all off the bench.
Nevertheless, he remains a very high-profile player and Tottenham fans seem on board with the idea of signing him.

Lucas would indeed be an excellent signing and perhaps a six-month loan safeguards Tottenham from making a big mistake and allows Pochettino to examine whether he’s good enough to command a transfer fee.
That being said, the former Sao Paulo winger has been on the scene in Ligue 1 for a while and has only managed 33 league goals in 152 appearances which, considering the opposition, isn’t an outstanding record.
