Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be interested in Red Bull Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
According to the Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur are keen on Red Bull Leipzig striker Timo Werner.
Spurs have been searching for a new front man for much of the summer so far, but have been unable to get a deal over the line.
Werner is now said to be on their wishlist, and Spurs fans are hoping that Mauricio Pochettino does have his eye on the German international.
If Werner was to move to Spurs it would be a switch to raise eye brows across the Premier League.
Werner and Harry Kane would have the potential to be the most potent strike pairing in English football at Tottenham.
However, doing a deal could be problematic, as Leipzig have been reluctant to sell players all summer.
Leipzig have rejected multiple offers for their key stars, and Werner certainly fits that description.
Werner scored 21 goals in 31 matches last season, with his pace proving to be a major threat to defences across the Bundesliga.
