Monaco’s Kylian Mbappe-Lottin scores their second goal
Kylian Mbappe added to his glowing reputation by scoring in Monaco’s dramatic Champions League clash with Manchester City.
The teenager scored just before half-time to put Monaco 2-1 up, although they went on to lose 5-3.
Mbappe, 18, has now scored 12 goals in all competitions this season after establishing himself as a first team regular, and has five in his last four games.
His form has seen him linked to the Premier League, most recently to Tottenham Hotspur.
L’Equipe reported this week that Spurs are interested along with North London rivals Arsenal, while Bayern Munich and Real Madrid are on alert.
He was already being discussed as a player who could sell for upwards of £50 million, and his goal last night will only lift his price tag further.
Mbappe would be a superb addition for Spurs, but fans are now worried his performance has put him out of their reach.
Here is a look at the reaction on Twitter to the teenager’s performance…
