The Tottenham Hotspur man is linked with a loan switch to Germany.
According to Get Football News Germany, Tottenham Hotspur defender Kevin Wimmer is set to leave the club.
The Austrian centre-back, who has started two Premier League games this season, will re-join former club Koln on loan, according to the German outlet.
The 24-year-old impressed for Tottenham in the second half of last season but it would appear as if Mauricio Pochettino has no need for the defender.

He looked a very able deputy for the injured Jan Vertonghen last term and, with the Belgian set to miss the trip to Watford through suspension and Toby Alderweireld out injured, it seems an odd time to let Wimmer leave.
And fans of the North London club certainly are not entertaining the idea that Pochettino would let him leave at the moment.

Wimmer, as proven last season, has the capacity to be a very fine centre-half, but the reality is that he won’t displace Vertonghen or Alderweireld any time soon.
Still, there is easily a number of Premier League clubs who would happily take him but, if true, it seems like the Argentine manager would prefer to see him leave England.
