Tottenham Hotspur have loaned Kazaiah Sterling to Sunderland.

Tottenham Hotspur have one fewer striker than they did heading into transfer deadline day.
Kazaiah Sterling has signed for Sunderland on a season long loan, with the club announcing the deal on their official website.
The move came just days after Steling came off the bench for Spurs in a FA Cup clash.
This was his first appearance of the season, briefly stepping up from the under-23 side.
Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino evidently felt that he could not offer Sterling the game time the young striker needed, and he will benefit from going out on loan.
This is Sterling’s first loan spell and he will hope to emulate Harry Kane, who really benefitted from various spells at Football League clubs.

Sunderland are challenging for promotion from League One and playing a part in a successful end of the season could be valuable for Sterling’s confidence.
Here is a look at how Tottenham Hotspur fans reacted on Twitter to the deal…
