Tottenham Hotspur fans have heaped praise on Juan Foyth for his performance against Newport County in the FA Cup.

Spurs won 2-0 against their League Two opponents at Wembley last night, with Foyth starting at centre-back.

The Argentine was picked to play alongside Toby Alderweireld yesterday, and he looked perfectly at home on the Wembley pitch.

Foyth has dealt with every challenge thrown at him so far, and Spurs fans are excited for what the future holds for the 20-year-old.

Foyth is unlikely to stay in Tottenham’s starting line-up this term, but may well continue to be used in cup competition.

The youngster now has six first-team appearances under his belt, and he has impressed every time he has been given a chance.

Tottenham won comfortably against Newport last night, to progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup.
