Maddison was given a star billing ahead of Norwich’s game against Chelsea in the FA Cup last night.
And the attacking midfielder did not disappoint, as the Canaries almost pulled off an upset.
Norwich were only beaten on penalties, and Tottenham fans were very impressed by what they saw from Maddison during the contest.
Tottenham have been heavily linked with a move for Maddison of late in the London Evening Standard, with the 21-year-old scoring seven goals and claiming five assists in 25 Championship matches.
Maddison looks to be one of the best prospects outside the Premier League, and Spurs are now keen to add him to Mauricio Pochettino’s squad.
Spurs have shown a willingness to buy from the Football League, with Dele Alli their biggest success story so far.
Maddison is likely to cost a sizeable fee if he does leave Norwich, as he is so highly rated by Daniel Farke’s side.
