Tottenham star will miss the first leg against Ajax.
Tottenham Hotspur are into the Champions League semi-finals after a terrific two-legged win over Manchester City.
Spurs went through on away goals, with Heung-Min Son scoring two of them.
He netted the winner at home too, and so it is a huge blow that he will be suspended for the first leg of the semi-final against Ajax.
Son picked up a yellow card, adding to one he earlier received in the knockout rounds.
Yellow cards have now been wiped out for the semi-finals, but not for players who amassed two previously, which includes Son.
The South Korean will miss the home leg against Ajax which will be held at Spurs on April 30.
With Harry Kane also likely to miss the match through injury, it is a blow for Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Yet Spurs have overcome the hurdles they have been posed so far, and this is just one more challenge for a team which has become used to dealing with them.
