The Spurs striker posted an update on social media on Thursday but the fanbase reaction to when they hope to see him back has been mixed.

It’s not been a good week for Tottenham Hotspur, whose personnel issues have been followed up by their elimination from the Carabao Cup at the hands of rivals Chelsea.
Spurs’ 1-0 lead going into Thursday’s semi-final second leg at Stamford Bridge was cancelled out as the game finished 2-1 in the 90 minutes, meaning extra time and penalties, in which the hosts emerged triumphant.
The Lilywhites have suffered several setbacks in terms of key players, with Dele Alli being sidelined until March alongside Harry Kane, while Son Heung-min is still on international duty with South Korea at the Asian Cup.
However, there is some solace as Kane seems to be on the mend ahead of schedule, judging by a post he put up on social media on Thursday in which he is walking with both trainers again:
Reaction on Twitter was mixed, with some fans expressing delight over the prospect of their star striker potentially coming back earlier than scheduled:
Some others, meanwhile, urged the club not to rush him back into action to ensure he returns to full fitness – and maybe even to buy some reinforcements:
Up next for Tottenham is another chance at cup progress against a fellow London team, with Crystal Palace away in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
