Tottenham have been linked with an ambitious bid for Hakan Calhanoglu.

German newspaper Bild reported earlier today that Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Bundesliga ace Hakan Calhanoglu.
The Turkish ace is said to be undecided on whether to move to North London, and follow Heung-Min Son in ditching Bayer Leverkusen for Spurs.

Calhanoglu is a playmaker in the Christian Eriksen mould, but also able to play on the left, and at just 22-years-old has bags of potential.
Last season he scored eight goals in all competitions for Leverkusen, and provided 11 assists – which included five assists in six Champions League games, with two coming against Barcelona.

He has 21 international caps to his name already and six goals, having represented Turkey at every level from under-16 through to the senior side.
His signing would be a bold statement of intent from Tottenham, and could really help them get the best out of the duo of Harry Kane and Vincent Janssen.
A concern could be that any deal could see Heung-Min Son head back to Leverkusen in part exchange, but getting them playing alongside each other at Spurs again could be a masterstroke.
