Tottenham Hotspur’s reward for their 7-0 thrashing of Tranmere Rovers in the third round of the FA Cup is a trip to Crystal Palace in the next stage.

Mauricio Pochettino’s charges made easy work of the League Two side at Prenton Park on Friday night for a place in the hat for the fourth round.

The Eagles, meanwhile, ran out 1-0 winners over Grimsby Town at Selhurst Park the following day, and both London sides were the last to find out their fate in Monday night’s draw.

Spurs have a solid recent record against Palace, having won seven of their last eight meetings in all competitions, with all of those triumphs coming in the Premier League.

Here is how some Lilywhites fans reacted to the draw:

The game is set to take place between 25 and 28 January, prior to which Spurs face Chelsea twice in the Carabao Cup semi-finals, as well as league games against Manchester United and Fulham.
