Tottenham Hotspur attacker Erik Lamela has committed his future to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.

Tottenham Hotspur fans are delighted that Erik Lamela has committed his future to Mauricio Pochettino’s side.
Lamela has been linked with a return to Italy, but said in an interview with the London Evening Standard that he wanted to stay with Tottenham.
“There’s never been anything with Juventus,” the wigner said. “Inter? I only think about the club I’m at, and I am very good here at Tottenham. The club is getting better and better, and I love living in London.”

Lamela, a £26 million signing from Roma back in 2013 (The Guardian), could now be in line to sign a new Spurs contract, which will put any speculation over his future to bed.
And Spurs fans are looking forward to seeing Lamela develop, as they feel he could still have a key role to play.
Lamela has had a frustrating time at Spurs recently, with injury keeping him out for over a year.
However, the Argentine is back and available now, and looks to be getting sharper by the game.
Lamela came off the substitutes’ bench in Tottenham’s most recent match, and he was pivotal in helping Spurs earn a draw against Liverpool at Anfield.
Lamela could now start for Tottenham later this evening, when they take on Newport County in the FA Cup.
