Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Douglas Costa for Juventus on Saturday evening.
Costa featured for Italian and European giants Juventus against Premier League outfit Tottenham at the Wembley Stadium in London.
The 26-year-old winger started the match and played for 60 minutes, as Spurs won 2-0 against the Bianconeri.
The Brazil international joined Juventus from German and European powerhouse Bayern Munich earlier in the summer transfer window.
Before the former Shakhtar Donetsk star’s switch to Juventus, Costa was linked with a move to North London side Tottenham.
Back in June, The Independent reported of Spurs’ interest in Costa, who struggled to play regularly for Bayern last season and made only 14 starts in the Bundesliga, according to WhoScored.
