Danny Rose is back in training for Tottenham.
The double return is a major boost for Tottenham; Rose has not played since January and Lamela’s last appearance was October last year.
There is still work to do before the duo get a first team call up, and perhaps plenty of physical work in particular for Danny Rose.
Tottenham posted pictures up of the duo upon their return to training, and fans responded with concern about the left-back’s shape.
Rose has been on the sidelines for months, and supporters are worried he is a long way from peak physical condition.
Fortunately Tottenham have left-back Ben Davies in the form of his life, but Rose is likely to get a shock to the system with head coach Mauricio Pochettino’s notoriously gruelling training sessions.
After facing Bournemouth, Spurs have a tough two games against Real Madrid and Liverpool.
