Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy is earning more than ever. Is it justified?

This may not be surprising, but what did take observers aback was his pay increase.
The salary comes amid record revenues for Spurs, bringing in £306 million.
Levy has overseen Tottenham’s rise to become Champions League regulars, with the club on course to qualify for the competition for three years in a row.

He has done this while spending sensibly compared to their rivals, and keeping a controversially strict wage bill.
This is the biggest gripe with Levy from fans, that the players are not paid like some of their Premier League rivals despite outperforming them.
To Levy’s credit, he has helped oversee Tottenham’s imminent transition to their new stadium, which is set to open later in 2018.
Increased ticket prices have been controversial, and Levy’s salary increase could be like a red flag to a bull to frustrated fans, but there has been minimal outcry over it, with Spurs fans seeing the bigger picture with regard to what he has brought to the club.
Here is a look at how fans reacted to news of Levy’s pay rise…
