Daniel Levy has suggested that Tottenham Hotspur’s budget won’t be affected by their new stadium.

Daniel Levy, Chairman of Tottenham Hotspur looks on during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool at White Hart Lane on August 27, 2016 in London, England.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have criticised Daniel Levy, after his latest comments about transfers.

Levy insisted to BBC Sport that Tottenham’s new stadium would not affect their budget in the upcoming transfer windows.

Levy claims that Spurs have money set aside for transfers, which will not be added to the stadium funds.

But Tottenham fans feel that Levy has shot himself in the foot by making the comments.

Spurs failed to make even one signing during the summer transfer window, with some fans very frustrated with Mauricio Pochettino’s side lack of activity.

And Spurs supporters have doubts over whether any new players will come in when the January window opens.

Tottenham’s new ground was scheduled to be built for the start of this season, but it still isn’t ready to be played in yet.

Spurs now face spending the rest of the season at Wembley, as their stadium plans are behind schedule.
