Tottenham midfielder is reportedly being eyed up by Barcelona

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Eric Dier is being watched closely by Barcelona, claim Teamtalk.
Dier’s profile in Spain has risen considerably over the past week after his starring performance for England in a 3-2 win over La Roja.
The reports claim Dier is viewed as a possible long-term replacement at Barcelona for Sergio Busquets.
It comes just after former England boss Sam Allardyce made headlines by comparing Eric Dier to Busquets.

Dier, 24, is a key first team player for Tottenham, able to play in both defence and midfield.
He has made eight Premier League starts this season for Tottenham, scoring once.

It would not make sense for Tottenham to cash in on Dier, who is a popular player at the club and is greatly admired by manager Mauricio Pochettino.
This is a surprise rumour which is especially unlikely to materialise into a mid-season transfer.
Here is a look at how Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to the report…
