Tottenham Hotspur managed to get a 1-1 draw with Real Madrid in Champions League action last night.
Tottenham Hotspur fans have admitted that the only player who didn’t perform for them against Real Madrid was Christian Eriksen.
Spurs managed to pick up a hugely impressive 1-1 draw with Madrid last night – with a number of their first-team squad putting in superb performances.
Hugo Lloris, Moussa Sissoko, Davinson Sanchez and Harry Winks were among the stand out performers for Spurs on the night.
However, Eriksen just didn’t get going in a creative sense at the Bernabeu, and many Spurs fans have suggested that if the play maker had reached the top of his game they may have taken the three points.
Tottenham actually took the lead against Madrid, when Rafael Varane diverted a low cross into his own net.
Los Blancos did hit back though through Cristiano Ronaldo, but Spurs’ defence held firm after that to claim an important point.
Tottenham are still unbeaten in Champions League action so far this season, and look to be in a strong position to make it through to the knockout stages.
