Crystal Palace winger Andros Townsend left Tottenham Hotspur to join Newcastle United in 2016.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Andros Townsend for Crystal Palace at the weekend.
Townsend featured for Palace in the Premier League game against his former club Tottenham at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The 26-year-old winger started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as Spurs won 1-0.

The England international started his professional club football career at Tottenham and left the North London outfit for Newcastle United in January 2016.
Townsend joined Palace from Newcastle in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Independent to be worth £13 million.
The winger scored three goals and provided four assists in 30 Premier League starts for Palace during the 2016-17 campaign.
Townsend played well against Spurs and gave a good account of himself, but Tottenham fans were not too impressed with the England international winger’s performance at Wembley.
