The £17 million striker has struggled to adapt to life in England so far since his summer move.

Tottenham Hotspur fans have not had much to be frustrated about so far this season.
Their team sits in second place in the Premier League table and are the only undefeated side left standing in the top flight after their impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester City.
However, one troublesome point has been the injury to Harry Kane, which has catapulted summer signing Vincent Janssen into the spotlight.

The 22-year-old striker was signed for £17 million this summer on the back of a 31-goal season for Dutch side AZ Alkmaar, but his only goal in 10 appearances in all competitions so far for Spurs has come against League Two Gillingham.
However, he displayed his goalscoring prowess on the international stage on Friday evening, smashing home a superb effort into the far top corner in the Netherlands’ 4-1 win over Belarus.
It was not a sign of a striker short on confidence; far from it, in fact. Janssen has an excellent recent goalscoring record for his country, and though he has been slow to start in England he has shown some signs that when he finally ends his drought, the goals could come thick and fast.

That was the case last term; it took the striker eight Eredivisie games to get off the mark, but he would ultimately go on to rack up 27 in the league for AZ.
For now, though, Spurs fans were content to take Friday’s thumping strike as a sign of good things to come from their new striker.
