And the £22 million (Guardian) forward’s comments after the game have gone down well with Tottenham supporters.
”I was hurt, just like the fans, I felt that pain,” Son said to the club’s official website.
“It was a bad result and I didn’t want to believe it. I was thinking ‘please, is this just a bad dream?’ but what can we do now? We have to carry on.”
Tottenham supporters have now praised Son’s comments, and want more members of their first-team squad to show similar passion.
