Tottenham Hotspur are currently above near-neighbours Arsenal in the Premier League table.
Tottenham fans on Twitter have reacted with anger after Sol Campbell offered his thoughts on the club and why they are performing better than rivals Arsenal.
In 2001, the former centre-back made the controversial decision of leaving Spurs and then joining Arsenal on a free transfer – a moment in north London history which clearly doesn’t sit well with one set of the supporters.
Therefore, when he gave his opinion on Mauricio Pochettino’s side, albeit a positive one, the clubs fans didn’t appreciate his comments because they perceive him as ‘Judas’.

In an interview to talkSPORT, Campbell admitted that Spurs have performed better than the Gunners in recent seasons because he feels they have the more ‘settled’ squad.
Despite that, a number of Tottenham fans on Twitter pointed out that he has ‘no right’ to air his opinion their club as his actions many years ago clearly will never be forgiven.

At this moment in time, Pochettino and his team are currently sitting in the top four of the Premier League table, 10 points ahead of sixth-placed Arsenal.
Both clubs have been knocked out of the domestic cup competitions, but they are still in Europe, with Spurs in the Champions League and Arsenal in the Europa League.
The final north London derby of the season will take place at Wembley on March 2, with Unai Emery’s side winning the previous league encounter, but their neighbours did knock them out of the Carabao Cup.
