Tottenham Hotspur fans were likely left worrying this morning, as reports emerged that Real Madrid were ready to make a move for Dele Alli in the near future.
The Mirror reported that Los Merengues had made Alli their prime target going forward – after watching the England international’s meteoric rise from League One football to being one of the Premier League’s most feared midfield maestros.

Of course, if it was any other team Spurs fans would have likely ignored it. PSG? Why would Alli head to France? Bayern Munich? Ditto regarding the Bundesliga? A Premier League rival? Why leave Spurs.
But Real Madrid.
