Tottenham Hotspur host West Ham United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The West Ham United fans should have known this was coming…
Just 17 minutes after Aaron Cresswell’s international debut, England had surrendered their two-goal lead to draw against Spain, while the man he replaced, Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose, had not conceded in 420 minutes of football for his country.

Only the bravest of Hammers supporters will have dared to look on social media afterwards…
For Cresswell, it was a harsh introduction to international football, and with Ryan Bertrand and Luke Shaw above him in the pecking order it could be a while before the West Ham star is spotted in a Three Lions shirt again.

That said, while both of Spain’s goals came from his side, he was not totally to blame. It was Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford who relinquished possession for the first, with Tottenham’s own Eric Dier failing to track the run of Isco, who duly completed his side’s comeback in the sixth minute of stoppage time.

Nevertheless, this was the reaction from Spurs fans on Twitter… but will they still be laughing after West Ham’s visit White Hart Lane this Saturday?
