Danny Rose wants to return for Tottenham Hotspur against Real Madrid. Fans are not so keen.

After months on the sidelines, Tottenham Hotspur left-back Danny Rose is eyeing a high profile return.
Rose has been out of action since January with a knee injury and is not part of Gareth Southgate’s latest England squad.

Instead Rose is working on his fitness ahead of the big Champions League tie on October 17.
Spurs have one fixture before then, at home to Bournemouth in the Premier League.
Earlier this year the prospect of playing Real without Rose would have cause reason to be fearful, but instead his return would cause more trepidation than his absence.
This is due to the outstanding form of full-back Ben Davies, who scored one and set up another in the victory over Huddersfield Town at the weekend.

Davies has stepped up and improved his own performances, and Rose should have to earn his place back in the side.
Putting in Danny Rose against Madrid having not played for eight months could be a big risk for Tottenham to take.
The defender caused controversy on the eve of the season by hitting out at the club’s pay structure in a hard hitting interview.
Fans are reluctant to see Rose walk back into the side and have made their feelings clear…
