Tottenham Hotspur broke their club transfer record to bring in Tanguy Ndombele, with the midfielder Mauricio Pochettino’s top target.

Tottenham Hotspur fans already love what Tanguy Ndombele has said about their new stadium.

Ndombele became Spurs’ record signing earlier this week, with Mauricio Pochettino’s side snapping up the French international on a five-year deal from Lyon.

There is great excitement from Tottenham fans to see Ndombele in action next term.

And it seems that Ndombele is also very excited by the challenge the awaits him at White Hart Lane.

“The stadium is amazing,” he said to the club’s official website.

“I have said before. I am not just saying it because I have signed for Tottenham. It is the most beautiful stadium I have ever seen or played in. I cannot wait to be able to play in the stadium and feel the atmosphere.”

The fact that Ndombele has already lavished praise on Tottenham’s new ground has gone down really well with supporters of the North London club, who have moved to praise his comments on social media website Twitter.

Ndombele is expected to walk straight into Tottenham’s midfield next term.

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of the highest quality central midfielders in the whole of Europe, and Pochettino believes that he can become a world-class player at Tottenham, according to the Guardian.
