Tottenham goalkeeper criticised for role in Juventus’ winner.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris has come in for criticism from supporters after his role in Paulo Dybala’s winner for Juventus.
The French international stayed rooted in his six yard box as the Argentine burst through on goal, failing to narrow the angle.
Dybala unleashed an unstoppable shot, which he was able to do free of pressure.

Lloris is vastly experienced as is Tottenham’s captain, and supporters made clear they expected better from the goalkeeper.
Fans expressed concern that the Frenchman’s performances have been declining and this was just the latest instance, in a very costly game.
Lloris dropped a clanger earlier in the season as Spurs lost 2-1 at home to Chelsea, while he was also blasted by fans after their home win over Southampton in December.
The Frenchman is only 31 so should have several years left at the top of his game.
Fans will be hoping he can improve rather than take a step backwards, but last night’s game is one which it could take Tottenham a while to get over.
