Tottenham Hotspur fans are seriously concerned after Mauricio Pochettino’s latest comments to Football.London.

Pochettino was speaking before Spurs’ match against Manchester City, when he admitted that he is currently feeling the worst he has since he arrived at Tottenham.

“The season so far, it’s strange because my feeling is the worst feeling I’ve had in the five years that I’ve been here,” Pochettino said.

“It’s the worst. My feeling, but it’s the best start ever for the club in the Premier League. It’s strange, no?

“This season, my feeling is the worst. I don’t know, it’s so difficult to explain, because the circumstance, because many things happen, I am disappointed we are still waiting for the new stadium when the expectation was to be there at the beginning of the season.”

Tottenham supporters read the comments as a sign of Pochettino’s frustrations.

And they are now seriously concerned that the Argentine boss could leave them in the near future.

Tottenham could actually move ahead of City later this evening, if they are to win at Wembley.

Spurs may not have been at their free flowing best this term, but they have managed to grind out wins with impressive regularity.

Pochettino’s side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table, but would move up to third with a victory over Pep Guardiola’s men.
