Tottenham Hotspur fans urge Mauricio Pochettino not to include Moussa Sissoko in his first XI at Liverpool.
Tottenham Hotspur fans on Twitter have called on Mauricio Pochettino to keep Moussa Sissoko on the bench for this evening’s trip to Liverpool.
The French flop was dropped by Pochettino for Spurs’ 2-0 win over Manchester United on Wednesday, after starting Tottenham’s last two matches in all competitions.
But the Argentine manager clearly rates Sissoko, who has started 12 of his 24 Premier League appearances this season.
With that in mind, it might not be a huge shock for Pochettino to select him in the first XI at Anfield, but Tottenham supporters are desperate to see him excluded.
You could argue that it was a bit of a surprise not to see Sissoko leave North London in January.
Not only has he desperately failed to repay the lavish £30 million that was spent on him, but he needs a brilliant second half of the season to make France’s World Cup squad and it seems very unlikely that he will start to reproduce his Euro 2016 form at Tottenham.
