Tottenham Hotspur fans do not appear to be keen on the rumours that Mauricio Pochettino wants to sign Arsenal defender Calum Chambers.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, Spurs have set their sights on signing Chambers from Arsenal during the summer transfer window.

Pochettino worked with Chambers at Southampton, earlier in the pair’s respective careers, and the Argentine boss is said to be keen on a reunion.

Chambers has been out on loan at Middlesbrough this season, and Pochettino has been impressed with the youngster’s performances.

Boro are struggling badly to stay up, but their defensive record is actually among the best in the Premier League.

However, Spurs fans seem to be unconvinced that Chambers would be a good addition.

Tottenham fans want Pochettino to look elsewhere, rather than trying to sign the Arsenal defender in the summer.

If Chambers was to move to Spurs, he would be in competition with the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Jan Vertonghen and Eric Dier for a place in Pochettino’s side’s defence.
