Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the possibility of signing reported summer transfer target Jack Grealish now that Aston Villa have been promoted to the Premier League

Villa won 2-1 against Derby County at Wembley Stadium in London in the Championship playoff final on Monday afternoon.

The result means that Dean Smith’s side will play in the Premier League next season, while Derby will remain in the Championship.

Grealish played well for the Villans against the Rams on Monday afternoon, just as he has done all season.

According to The Mirror, Tottenham are interested in signing the 23-year-old attacking midfielder, who has a release clause of £60 million.

Now that Villa have won promotion to the Premier League, Grealish could decide to stay at Villa Park beyond the summer, and the club have no financial pressure to sell him.

Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the chances of signing Grealish this summer.

Meanwhile, Tottenham defender Davinson Sanchez has revealed that he has turned down Barcelona twice.

The Express quotes Sanchez as saying: “I wanted to go into the first team. Alongside Lionel Messi, Gerard Pique – I’d have improved.

“Javier Mascherano and Carles Puyol were in the team at centre-back at the time. I’d have put pressure on Puyol, for example. Why not?”
