Tottenham Hotspur attacker Lucas Moura was unable to score for Mauricio Pochettino’s side last night.

Tottenham Hotspur fans can’t believe that Jermaine Jenas claimed that Lucas Moura was poor during his commentary on BT Sport.

Jenas stated during the second half that Moura hadn’t done enough for Tottenham last night in their Champions League semi-final against Ajax.

But many Spurs fans were left baffled, as they felt that the £25 million forward (BBC Sport) had been one of their brighter sparks.

Moura’s application certainly couldn’t be questioned, but he was unable to create much for Tottenham.

Spurs were beaten 1-0 at White Hart Lane yesterday, with Donny van de Beek scoring the only goal of the game for Ajax.

Moura was partnered up-front with Fernando Llorente, but he couldn’t get past a stubborn Ajax defence.

Spurs now know that they must win in Holland next week to have any chance of making the final.

Moura may well have a different strike partner in the second-leg, as Heung-Min Son is due to return from suspension.
