Kyle Walker failed to impress Tottenham Hotspur supporters on his return to the first-team last night.
Walker was controversially dropped for Spurs’ FA Cup semi-final against Chelsea last weekend, with Kieran Trippier favoured at right-back.
However, Mauricio Pochettino brought the England international back in at Selhurst Park, in a show of faith.
Unfortunately for Walker, his display was erratic – and although Spurs picked up a 1-0 victory he failed to catch the eye.
Walker’s future at Spurs remains up in the air, with rumours circulating suggesting that he could exit.
Manchester City are believed to be interested in the flying wing-back (The Sun), as Pep Guardiola looks to reshape his side’s defence.
Walker’s immediate focus will be on helping Spurs keep pace with Chelsea in the title race.
Tottenham’s win over Palace has helped them close the gap on Antonio Conte’s men down to four points.
